Jennifer, an ex-pat Canuck, received her Bachelors of Education in Literacy Studies with a minor in Physical Education from the University of New Brunswick and a Masters of Education in Curriculum Design from St. Michael's College in Colchester, Vermont.

Jen enjoyed a distinguished 20 year career as an educator while cultivating her passion for competitive fitness and nutrition along the way. Jen's joy of running has carried her over many miles and through many adventures and races of varying distances. Participating in her first Sprint Triathlon last summer, Jen caught the bug to participate in more racing events and inspired her to join the Trismarter.com team.

Jen celebrates her love of sports year round. She is busy in the winter months with paddle tennis, nordic skiing, hiking, bikram yoga, and regular gym workouts. Warmer months find her racking up the miles running, cycling, mountain biking, hiking and golfing. (Hint: her golf nickname is 'Boom Boom'). Jen is happiest in situations that challenge and enrich her. She devotes time to community work and, as a steward of the Sherwood Forest for the Fellowship of the Wheel, Jen has the opportunity to clear and maintain trails for mountain bike and hiking enthusiasts. And that is another passion - to support her community and do it in a healthy way. Jen is always thinking "win-win !"
