Founder and President of Trismarter.com, Walter is currently studying medicine at the University of Vermont College of Medicine. Walter's medical interest is in the prevention and treatment of obesity as well as public policy directed at the national obesity epidemic. Walter holds a degree in both Nutritional Sciences and Dietetics with Honors from the same institution. Additionally, Walter has authored numerous papers and abstracts in the fields of obesity and metabolism.

As an athlete, Walter is a former member of the USA Triathlon Olympic Resident Program, living and training in the Olympic Training Centers in Colorado and California. Walter remains active in hiking and strength training and, of course, swimming, cycling and running. His next athletic goal is a multi-day adventure race abroad.

Determined to offer amateur athletes a highly personalized service, the goal of which is to build meaningful and productive relationships, DeNino founded Trismarter.com. With over a decade of experience in the sport of triathlon, Walter and the Trismarter.com staff have helped hundreds of athletes achieve their athletic and dietary goals.
