Lee Gardner

Lee Gardner is a 1996 graduate of the University of Arizona. Moving to New York City in 1998 to follow musical pursuits, he discovered and fell in love with the sport of triathlon soon thereafter. His passion for participating in and training for the sport has lead him to pursue coaching and training others. Lee is a USA Triathlon Certified Coach. His tireless interest in triathlon and multisport drives him to further his learning about new methodologies, equipment, events, and trends in endurance sports, especially triathlon, cycling and running.

USA Triathlon Certified CoachLee believes that it is important to train with intelligence and motivation, while maintaining enjoyment. As a coach, he strives to not only provide detailed guidelines, but also to help his clients understand why each workout will provide forward momentum in reaching their goals. It is equally important for the athlete to understand that there are no real short-cuts and that reaching goals will take time and effort combined, of course, with an efficient and personalized plan.

Lee currently resides in Colorado Springs, CO, where he is always training for his favorite race, Ironman Lake Placid.
