A recent article in the Wall Street Journal titled “Why that big meal you just ate made you hungry” eloquently describes “The Skinny,” a book written by prominent weight loss expert Louis Aronne, M.D. This weight loss philosophy mirrors the nutritional approach I take with my clients in the Tri2Lose program.
I meet my clients when they are over their goal weight and ready for change. I motivate them to eat healthy and satisfying foods that not only promote satiety but are lower in calories. Their hard work, perseverance, and dedication to the individualized nutrition program is truly inspiring to witness.
We then couple this successful eating plan with individualized exercise goals. I have one client training for the Zooma Annapolis 10k, another gearing up for the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon; whatever the goal, it is something that they own. My clients are inspired by their goal and work diligently and methodically towards it on their quest for fitness, health, and weight loss.
