Swim workout #2, Begin altering your stroke count.
Warm up: 200 swim, 150 kick, 150 pull. 8×50 as 25 non-freestyle (choice)/25 FAST Freestyle
Main set: 16×100 as
• 4×100 moderate-hard effort, defining base stroke count/25 & pace/100
• 4×100 @ base -1 stroke/25. What was your time for the 100? How does it compare to a 100 at base stroke count?
• 4×100 @ base stroke count & pace/100
• 4×100 @ base +1 stroke/25. What was your time for the 100? How does it compare to a 100 at base stroke count?
Cool down: 200 choice, mix strokes.
